A Special Message From  Leona Williams We have enjoyed a very busy Summer!  I have had a great time working with my fellow Grand Ladies in Branson.  It is always wonderful to work with Jody Miller, Wanda Jackson and Mary Lou Turner.  Jean Shepard, Ava Barber and I even headed out to Sandstone, Mn. and did a show for all the folks up there.  It was so much fun!   My new CD "Leona Sings Merle" is now out on Ah-Ha Music.  I hope that you like it.  My new Heart of Texas album will be released in July, so you will have lots of new Leona to listen to!   Let me hear from you when you have time and thanks for stopping by my website!   Leona Williams The Latest Leona News News Update April 2008      Leona was recently a guest with Ferlin Husky on the Ralph Emery Show on RFD TV.  Leona and Ralph have been friends for a long time and Leona said she enjoyed seeing him and being a part of his new television show.   The Grand Ladies Show in Branson is in full swing again and Leona is enjoying working with Jean Shepard, Pretty Miss Norma Jean, Ava Barbor, Wanda Jackson, Mary Lou Turner and Jody Miller.  If you go to Branson, make sure you see this great show at the God and Country Theater on the strip in Branson.   Leona will have two new albums out this summer with another Heart of Texas Records project produced by Justin Trevino.  Leona included some more gems that she composed along with some favorites including the great classic "New Patches."  She will also have a CD in tribute to Merle Haggard that will be released on June 20.  They will both be available on her website when available.   Thanks for your Leona support and keep playing her music and requesting it on your favorite radio stations and XM Radio!!
